The SOGA Way

  1. Provide high-quality training in a positive, nurturing environment for all children.

  2. Emphasize a good work ethic and dedication to the sports of gymnastics while maintaining a mentally and physically healthy environment.

  3. Help children develop self-discipline, motivation, and a positive self-worth by recognizing that each success, great and small, is important and that each child is unique and develops in his or her own way.

  4. Show respect and compassion towards students and families with the highest level of integrity. Everyone involved with SOGA should respect each childs goals and dreams and strive to help each child achieve these to the best of their abilities.

  5. Provide a basis for a lifelong love for health and fitness as well as a source of pride & confidence.

Feelings of worth can flourish only in an atmosphere where individual differences are appreciated, mistakes are tolerated, and communication is open - the kind of atmosphere that is found in a nurturing (environment).
